Beyonce on Oprah: Who is Sasha Fierce?

This afternoon, Beyonce sat down with Oprah and talked about all things Sasha Fierce, Hamburger Helper, and her role as Etta James in Cadillac Records. Oprah attempted to get some wedding info out of her, but that’s still a private affair. When will that veil be lifted? I’m guessing at some point after Beyonce pops out a baby Bee or Jay.

Yeah, Oprah asked Beyonce if she was pregnant.

Beyonce Chats it Up with Oprah

Nope. That should be fairly obvious with a new album that’s going to have Sasha performing from Tennessee to Shanghai. Once that’s a wrap, Sasha will make an encore performance at home and you’ll see those big belly candids floating around the web. Then the privacy which the ‘mystery couple’ loves will be a little more challenging to maintain.

There is no way they’ll be able to tuck those baby pictures away from the public. That’s when you hit em with, ‘So how was the wedding?’..

Beyonce Reveals Wedding Details

Beyonce Knowles and her rap-star hubby Jay-Z are one of Hollywood's rare couples that prefer not to parade their romance around for the press.

So when the two tied the knot last April in front of a celebrity guest list that included Gwyneth Paltrow and Coldplay's Chris Martin, the couple-- not surprisingly-- managed to keep the press guessing when they exchanged vows atop a NYC apartment building.

But if anyone can get a blushing bride to spill, it's the queen of media herself, Oprah Winfrey. On Thursday's show to promote her new album, I Am Sasha Fierce, Beyonce finally revealed a few sparse details about her wedding day.

"It was very private, and I can say outside it was paparazzi and it was madness, and inside it was really beautiful," Beyonce told Oprah, adding that it's taken her a while to realize the value of keeping her personal life her own.

"I had to really learn how to have boundaries and how to have balance," she said. "It's something that I have never really talked about, and I still feel like it was difficult--and it still is--because I'm so excited about it. But it's important that I keep things that are pure and real in perspective and I keep it separate from my performance life."

Beyonce told Oprah it feels great to be married but added that it's also important to make a committment to yourself before walking down the aisle.

"Make sure you have your own life before you're someone else's wife," she said.

Meanwhile, Beyonce tells Seventeen Magazine's Dec./Jan. issue that she consciously waited until she was of a certain age to get married. "Before the age of 25 I would never get married," the singer, now 27, says. "I feel like you have to get to know yourself, know what you want, spend some time by yourself and be proud of who you are before you can share that with someody else."

She adds, I really don't believe that you will love the same thing when you're 20 as you do at 30."

Here are some excerpts from the Tom Cruise Oprah Interview, tentatively titled “See! I’m Not Crazy!”

Tom Cruise & Oprah Winfrey at Telluride, Colorado.

On the Couch Jumping Incident

“When we finished that show with you jumping up on the sofa, I was like, ‘Wow. What was that?’” she tells him in an interview in his Telluride, Colo., home. “I had no idea it was going to turn into an international brouhaha, as I’m sure you did not either.”

She even confesses, “I was a little nervous coming up this morning, I have to admit, because you and I have not sat down for a real conversation since the sofa incident.”

Cruise tells Winfrey, “I just felt that way, and I feel that way about her.

“I can’t even articulate it, to be honest,” he adds. “That feeling, that connection. Just who she is and what she means to me.”

Of the negative response to his couch jumping, Cruise says, “It just kind of kept going.

“Those things I kind of go, ‘You just have to take in stride.’ It just kind of became a confluence of things.”

ON ATTACKING MATT LAUER

He also opened up about his 2005 interview with Matt Lauer (Cruise attacked the anchor, calling him “glib” during a chat about psychiatry and the use of anti-depressant drugs).

“I was feeling pressed in the interview with Matt Lauer,” Cruise says. “For me, my issue was really about child drugging. It’s not like it is today, like people are really kind of openly talking about this.”

(Cruise now says of medicating children, “I think the parent should be able to and should make that decision.”)

ON SLAMMING BROOKE SHIELDS

He says his comments on post-partum depression “came out wrong.” (He slammed Brooke Shields in the same 2005 interview for taking Paxil to treat post-partum depression following the birth of her daughter Rowan.)

“What I regret is even discussing Brooke in any way,” Cruise says.

He says the incident has brought the two of them “closer” (Shields attended his 2006 wedding to Holmes.)

ON BEING A SCIENTOLOGIST

Cruise dodges Winfrey’s question about whether he feels people negatively target him because of his Scientology involvement.

“It’s a minority religion, and I think that sometimes people misinterpret [it],” he says. “I think the best thing is for people to read about it themselves. I believe people have the right to choose what they believe in.

“The code of Scientologists says you respect the religious beliefs of others,” Cruise adds. “That’s part of being a Scientologist, and that’s who I am as a person.”

In January, videos leaked online of Cruise at Scientology events discussing the religion. He says the footage “was stolen. I was receiving an award that evening for global literacy. It was a very private moment. I’m actually talking to my congregation.”

“It’s [taken] totally out of context,” he adds.

ON BUYING A SONOGRAM MACHINE FOR HOLMES DURING HER PREGNANCY

Cruise says he and Holmes took great pains to keep her pregnancy private. “We went in the middle of the night, and we were very excited — this is such a private moment,” he says.

“My life was already a zoo,” he says. When news leaked, “it was off the charts.”

As for purchasing a sonogram machine for Holmes, Cruise explains, “When you’re having a baby, you just want it to be as safe and as easy as possible.”

ON KEEPING SURI HIDDEN FOR SO LONG

Lots of rumors spread about their daughter, Suri, because the couple kept her hidden after she was born. Some blogs speculated that the child was deformed. That talk, Cruise says, was “hard to hear.

“We just want to have our baby, have the kids and everyone get to know Suri, get the family up here and just chill and have that time that you never get back,” he explains. “You don’t ever get those moments back.”

On waiting three months to publish her photo in Vanity Fair in 2006, Cruise says, “Kate and I didn’t feel any need to [rush] it. We said, ‘Why? It’s our family.’ We just were on Suri time.”

ON DAUGHTER SURI

“She’s spectacular,” he says. “She really is just magic.”

His two children with ex Nicole Kidman, Connor and Isabella, “were really excited.”

ON HIS MARRIAGE WITH HOLMES BEING FAKE

“That’s laughable to me,” Cruise says. ‘You just know that they’re trying to sell it and spin it.”

He says Holmes’ Catholic family has welcomed him.

“They’re amazing. I love them,” Cruise says. “You see why Kate is such an amazing woman — incredible integrity and strength. They’re family.”

ON RUMORS THAT HE HAS PUSHED NICOLE KIDMAN OUT OF THEIR KIDS’ LIVES

“No, that’s ridiculous,” he says. “We share custody. That’s what it is.”

ON HIS REPUTATION

“Listen I, I feel like definitely things have been misunderstood, and there are things I could have done better,” Cruise admits. “But then there’s also that world where you go, ‘Oh, it’s been spun to such an extent that … that’s a truth also.’

He continues, “Knowing when and where to communicate, I think that’s important.

“A lot of times I was nervous giving interviews. Or I wasn’t sometimes as comfortable about things. And I realized that it’s okay.

“There’s stuff you have to just let go,” Cruise adds. “I just have to do the best I can.” - source

So what do you think? Is he really nuts, or is it just the bad media spin?

The two HOT Veronicas have taken the lead in the sexiest women in the world. The two - known as the Veronicas have come third and fourth on FHM mens magazine's annual sexiest women in the world list, ahead of Miranda Kerr and Jennifer Hawkins.

About 230,000 Australian men voted to rank the top 100 women.

Jess Origliasso, who has recently been in the spotlight for her diminishing frame and speculation about her relationship with MTV host Ruby Rose, led the Aussie contingent on the list by taking third place.

Her sister Lisa Origliasso, who this week announced her engagement to former Australian Idol star and pin up Dean Geyer, was fourth.

US actor Jessica Alba won the top spot, while compatriot actor Megan Fox was second.

Aussie model Miranda Kerr took fifth place and former Miss Universe Jennifer Hawkins was sixth.

Aussies dominated the list, making up nearly one-third of the total with 29 representatives.

Singer Natalie Imbruglia was eighth and Lara Bingle rounded out the top ten.

Other Australian beauties to make the cut were 43-year-old newsreader Sandra Sully (62), middle distance runner Tamsyn Lewis (22) and Natalie Bassingthwaite (23).

FHM editor Ben Smithurst said it was no surprise there were so many Australians on the list.

"This is a reaffirmation that Australia is home to the world's sexiest ladies," he said.

"Australian ladies are known across the world for their beauty, charm and intelligence."

The list will be published in FHM's June edition, which goes on sale on Monday, May 5

I urge you to watch this video. To me… it is incredibly disturbing. The video is obviously a propaganda piece for PRO Christianity and a little Obama bashing, but that doesn’t happen until the end. Just disregard that part. The part that is disturbing is the incredible reach and influence that Oprah has over MILLIONS of idiotic women of this (US) nation. Women that have filled their lives with loveless marriages and children of convenience. Now Oprah is trying to fill that void with the makings of a cult. This cult is no different than Scientology. Telling us that there is no death, no God, or maybe even (in Scientology’s case) that we are filled with aliens.

Oprah is a powerful woman, and that makes her a dangerous woman. She has now officially jumped the shark. She has caught the next train to crazy town, and she just got about 2 million women to follow her. Watch this video in disbelief as I have. The woman is nuts. (I smell a YAAFM.)

I think this is great. Normally I can’t stand Oprah but I have to agree with her on this one. I believe a lot more than 2 million people think this way.

The only slamming I see in this is slamming of organized religion and the B.S. they have pushed on people. If you want to debate on this, let me know. I’ll stick up for this. (guess I’ll be in the y.a.a.f.m. too LOL)

I can’t believe I’m saying this. “You go girl”
